As a tinkerer family, we tend to fix things ourselves around the home. Our cars, home appliances, furniture, mechanical equipment, you name it, we try to fix it. And if we can’t fix it, we look to outsource and support someone in the trade. Usually, we don’t go with big corporate-name businesses. We like to support local folks and small entities.

Keeping things local supports the community in more ways than you might realize. Not only are you financially helping another family, but you’re also building connections that can last a lifetime.

So today, fix something yourself. And if you can’t, find someone who can help you.
