I know I say this every new lunar cycle…
but this one truly feels like a renewal washing over everything.
Life is a lot right now.
My kindergartener is down with a fever, my one-year-old is suddenly on the move and trying to talk, and now my middle child’s 4th birthday is aligning perfectly with the New Moon. It’s wild, messy, and with beautiful timing. Exactly the kind of cosmic alignment that makes me pause and breathe a little deeper, that’s for sure!
And yet… somehow, in the middle of the chaos, the energy feels right.
This New Moon is reminding me that renewal doesn’t require quiet conditions. It arrives even when the house is loud, when the to-do list is long, and when motherhood feels like a whirlwind. It shows up anyway, soft, steady, and asking only that we notice it.
Tonight, I’m leaning all the way into the vibes:
rest, reflection, reset, repeat.
New Moon blessings to anyone else navigating the messy, magical in-between. We’re all renewing in our own ways. 🌑✨

Happy Birthday my spirta.
Continue below for my recommended rituals to welcome the new lunar cycle and invite renewal into your mind, body, home, and spirit.
🌑✨ New Moon Rituals for a True Lunar Reset
1. The 3-Breath Releasing Ritual (2 minutes)
This is mama-friendly magic. Sit, stand, or even lie on the floor, whatever feels natural.
Inhale for clarity, exhale what you’re holding.
Inhale for peace, exhale the chaos.
Inhale for renewal, exhale everything that isn’t yours.
Seal the moment by saying, “I welcome new energy into my life.”
2. Set Three Intentions — No More, No Less
New Moons are for planting seeds, so keep it simple. Write down one intention for your mind, one for your body, and one for your spirit. Tuck it somewhere meaningful like your journal, under a candle, or even beneath your pillow.
3. Birthday Blessing Ritual for Your Child
Light a candle and say,
“As you begin another year, may the universe guide you with protection, joy, and growth.”
You can even whisper a blessing while they sleep.
4. Mama’s Renewal Bath or Shower Ritual
If a full bath isn’t possible, a shower works just as well. Add a handful of salt for cleansing and a little lavender or basil for clarity and protection. Dim the lights and let the water rinse away exhaustion, worry, and old energy.
5. Clean-Sweep Reset
Choose one small area like a nightstand, dresser top, or corner of the room, and clear it off. Even a few minutes of decluttering can shift the energy. It tells the universe, “I’m making space for what’s coming.”
6. New Moon + Birthday Gratitude Moment
Sit quietly and name three things you’re grateful for: one about yourself, one about your children, and one about your life right now. Gratitude softens the energy and opens the door for renewal.
7. Crystal Companion Ritual
If you work with crystals, tonight is their moment.
Moonstone for renewal, clear quartz for clarity, rose quartz for heart-centered healing, amethyst for mental calm, and citrine for new beginnings. Hold one to your chest and breathe your intentions into it.
8. Silent Candle Manifestation
Light a candle and focus on the flame for 30–60 seconds. Let your intentions rise with it. Say,
“I call in what aligns. I release what does not.”
9. Family Energy Reset
If the kids are awake or cranky, turn it into a collective ritual. Dim the lights, play soft music or nature sounds, and sit together on the floor. Let the calm settle over all of you.
10. Early Bedtime = Sacred Reset
Sometimes the most powerful ritual is simply choosing rest.
Rest is spiritual work.
Rest is magic.
Rest is rebirth.
Merry New Moon Lovelies! 🖤
