March 18th New Moon Reading.

Happy New Moon, lovelies. Are you ready for the ebb and flow of Pisces?

This lunar phase is encouraging you to close out emotional chapters. But what does that really mean? It means the people, the patterns, and the situations you once allowed to disturb your peace no longer get access to your spirit. It means deciding that your softness is sacred and your energy is not up for negotiation.

This time of year is known for rain showers. Let them come. Let the rain fall heavy and honest. Imagine it washing over you, clearing the emotional residue you’ve been carrying. Allow it to wipe your slate clean. You deserve that kind of renewal. How else will you find your footing and move forward with clarity this season?

This New Moon is a beautiful time to renew your spiritual practices and realign your introspection. Sit with yourself. Journal without censoring. Pray without performance. Trust your intuition. Even when letting go of control feels uncomfortable, even when your hands want to grip tighter, you must loosen them. Pisces teaches surrender as wisdom. Let that sink in.

I always love speaking about what self-care looks like during these phases, because it shifts.

During a New Moon, self-care is about renewal, release, cleansing, and acceptance. It may look like a quiet bath, a long walk in the rain, writing a letter you never send, or simply turning your phone off and listening to your own breath. It may look like forgiving someone privately, or forgiving yourself.

Under this New Moon, give yourself permission to close what needs closing. Let the waters carry away what no longer aligns. Trust that in the empty space left behind, something softer and more aligned will begin to bloom.

Pisces-and-April-inspired self-care list:

• Take a slow walk in a light April rain and imagine each drop washing away emotional heaviness.

• Create a small bowl of salt water, dip your fingertips into it, and set the intention of cleansing your spirit like spring showers cleanse the Earth.

• Open your windows on a breezy afternoon and let fresh air move through your home, carrying out stagnant energy.

• Journal near a window while listening to rainfall or soft water sounds, allowing your thoughts to flow freely without judgment. If you aren’t around water then use the air or even scent to replace that energy.

• Collect rainwater (safely and mindfully) and use it to water a plant, symbolizing new emotional growth.

• Take a warm bath with sea salt and lavender, visualizing yourself floating rather than fighting the current.

• Sit outside at dusk after a rainy day and reflect on what you are ready to release, letting the damp earth ground you.

• Create something intuitive. Paint, poetry, or prayer. Without structure, simply letting it pour out like April rain.

• Light a white candle on a cloudy evening and whisper what you are surrendering to the Universe.

• Spend a few quiet moments watching the sky shift after a storm, reminding yourself that clarity always follows release.

Soft. Fluid. Cleansing. Just like Pisces.

Happy Cleansing!
